In a recent interview, he revealed he is a huge fan of Hollywood legendary director Martin Scorcese. Moreover, I’m a huge fan of Martin Scorsese and Clint Eastwood.” He added, “I have been thinking of what new things we can explore in the gangster genre. He said that Goodfellas impressed him a lot, and he liked the Goodfellas introduction scenes so much and liked the dialogue I want to be a gangster.
Lokesh LEO’s trailer gave the audience a major Martin Scorsese vibe without a doubt. It showed a lot without revealing anything.He said his films will have retro songs and action sequences from his favourite Hollywood action films.
He said ”I used to limit myself to Hollywood films like Predator and Commando Rocky series and then started watching Martin Scorcese films and Quintin Tarantino films. I thought, OK, I should do some movies, that’s the reason. He said that sharing excitement with the audience is the essence of the direction. He also liked Martin Scorsese’s Goodfellas, Departed, and Quintine Tarantino films. His favourite Tarantino film is Django- Unchained.
