Lizzo claps back at haters

Lizzo, who is currently on tour, used her Twitter account to respond to the body shamers and fatphobes she encounters on a daily basis. Lizzo didn’t hold back as she addressed the remarks made about her weight and physique on Twitter by cyber bullies in a series of tweets. The 35-year-old singer responds to critics as follows.

Lizzo slammed the comments made about her body and weight, before making her account private. She began by saying that she has to see these fatphobic comments about herself whenever she opens her social media account. The 35-year-old singer added that someone commented that she eats lots of fast food, which is not true. Lizzo said that “she stopped eating fast food years ago” and is tired of explaining herself to others all the time.

She wrote, “The Love definitely do not outweigh the Hate on social media… all because I’m fat????”, she went on. “Y’all don’t know how close I be to giving up on everyone and quitting and enjoying my money and my man on a FU**ING FARM.”

Lizzo went on to say that she is neither aiming to be skinny nor try to be big. I’m literally just trying to live and be healthy,” she stated. Even when I eat extremely well and exercise, my body still looks like this.

The Damn About The Time hitmaker also responded to the criticism that her “being fat” is her brand, saying that all she wants to do is create “feel good music” and support “all people.”Following several tweets, Lizzo decided to make her Twitter account private.

Later, Lizzo added several mirror selfies to her Instagram account along with the remark “I hate everybody today.”She later tweeted a clip from her tour with the caption: “I’ll keep advocating for self-love and body positivity.
