The wait is finally over!! The most anticipated trailer of Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya-starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was unveiled amid much fanfare in the IPL finale on May 29.
Marking Naga Chaitanya’s Bollywood debut, this is all set to hit theatres worldwide on August 11, 2022.
Showcasing the exciting and emotional moments, the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ trailer showcased an extraordinary life of a simple man who came all his way in life from a disabled and underrated school student to the most accomplished military soldier in the Indian army.
The trailer starts with Amir Khan picking up a feather and progresses onto his character, saying, “Do we have control over what happens in our life?”. Later, the trailer narrates Laal Singh Chaddha’s loss-to-win journey, wrapping it up with Chaddha’s mother’s words, “Life is like a golgappa, your tummy might feel full, but your heart always craves more”.
All in all, this heartwarming trailer had many high moments and inspiring words, including the dialogue, “My mama always said, life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.” The trailer itself says, There are more than enough thrills in the movie to tell you the journey of a man who ran across a country to find a purpose.
Laal Singh Chaddha is adopted from one of the Hollywood superhits Forest Gump which was released in 1994. Tom Hanks portrayed the lead character in the film and it went on to become a box office blockbuster.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Laal Singh Chaddha is enough nostalgia to make you go back in time. Backed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions, the movie has Kareena Kapoor in the lead actress role.
