Nithya Menen is coming up with a new series titled Kumari Srimathi under Vyjayanthi Productions on the OTT platform Prime Videos. Actress Keerthy Suresh unveiled the teaser of Kumari Srimathi. This web series is a directorial debut for Cinematographer Gomtesh Upadhye.
Actor and director Srinivas Avsarala created and wrote the story for Kumari Srimathi. The launch of the teaser was about to happen yesterday but due to the tragic death of actor, director, producer, and music composer Vijay Antony’s daughter, it was pushed to reveal today.
Kumari Srimathi narrates the story of a middle-aged lady not getting married and wants to stand independently. In the glimpse of the teaser, Nithya is seen doing a catering business along with her friend in her town where everyone who knows the character asks when will she get married.
Kumari Srimathi promises to be an engaging, feel-good show for audiences of all age groups. Along with Nithya Menen, Guathami, Praneeta, Thiruveer, and Nirupam Paritala are seen in the key roles. The web series is structured into seven episodes with each episode of forty minutes will be available to stream in Pan Indian languages. The series will be out from September 28 to stream on Prime Videos.
