Legendary actor Dharmendra celebrated his 88th birthday yesterday. As the actor turned a year old, his fans and several Bollywood celebrities poured numerous birthday wishes for him. Among them are the young actors who are doing a movie with the actor right now.
Kriti Sanon, who will soon be on the big screen beside Shahid Kapoor, has Dharmendra in one of the critical roles. The Mimi actress took to her Instagram story to share a behind-the-scenes picture with Dharmendra and wrote, “Happy Birthday Dharam Ji!! (red heart and red rose). You are the warmest, kindest and such an inspiration!! I’m lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work with you, Sir! May God bless you with all the happiness and good health! (red heart and praying emoji).”
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor shared a behind-the-scene picture with the veteran actor from the sets of their untitled film. The actor is seen clicking a selfie with Dharmendra as they pose towards the camera all smiles. Shahid wrote, “To the OG evergreen SUPERSTAR in every MAUSAM happy birthday @aapkadharam sir.”
Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor are developing a love story that is still untitled. The film wrapped up its shooting and is under post-production. The film, helmed by Dinesh Vijan, also has Dimple Kapadia Dharmendra in crucial roles. In this film, Kriti is seen as a robot, while Shahid is portrayed as a scientist.
