after scoring back-to-back success with the KGF franchise, the producer, Vijay Kiragandur has now confirmed that KGF Chapter 3 will have its release sometime in 2024. While the KGF: Chapter 2 is still going strong at the box office, the producer Kiragandur has said that they aim to build a Marvel-Universe kind of a world with the KGF franchise.
Asked about the shooting schedule of KGF: Chapter 3, the producer in an interview said, “Director Prashanth Neel is currently busy with Prabhas’ Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF3 after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”
When asked if the movie will see any new faces along with Yash, he added, “Going forward, we are going to create a Marvel kind of universe. We want to bring different characters from different movies and create something like Doctor Strange. The way it happened in Spider-Man or Doctor Strange. So that we can reach a wider audience easily.”
Meanwhile, KGF Chapter 2 released on April 14 created a worldwide sensation and received Blockbuster collections. The film features Yash in the lead role and also stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Srinidhi Shetty, and Malavika Avinash in prominent roles.
