KGF franchise to be released in Japan

The level of Indian Cinema is growing bigger and wider than before after our pan-Indian films were shattered by releasing in other countries across the globe. For Bollywood, it’s a common practice to release films in different countries. Apparently, Bahubali is the first film from South Asia to lay the path for creating sensational South Indian masala for an international audience.

Rajamouli’s directorial and Oscar-winning film RRR, which was released in Japan, is still running stupendously and has beaten the old record of Rajini’s Muthu. After RRR’s extraordinary run at the Japanese box office, it’s time for another South Indian film to make its mark with Japanese movie lovers. Sandalwood, the highest-grossing KGF franchise, i.e., the two parts, is slated to hit screens in Japan.

For the uninitiated, KGF 1 and 2 are releasing on July 14 to entice moviegoers over there. Prashanth Neel is the director of this Hombale Films Production. It stars Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in the main lead roles. It can be a challenge for our Oscar-winning film RRR to determine whether this franchise beats Japan’s highest-grosser ( in the category of foreign releases).
