As the monster KGF Chapter-2 film continues to mint the collections at the box office, it’s setting new records and benchmarks. Released on the 14th of last month, the film is entering its fifth week and still going strong. It collected Rs 134 crores just on its opening day. The latest trade report is that the Yash starrer has crossed Rs 1200 crores net.

As the 1200 crore mark is breached, KGF 2 joined a very rare elite club that has just Dangal and Baahubali 2 in it.
Starring Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveen Tandon, Prakash Raj, and Rao Ramesh in key roles, the Prashant Neel directorial is still going strong. It’s interesting to see what will be the final collections of the movie. If the current trend is to continue, there is no doubt that it’s going to set a few more new records. There were rumors going around that the movie team is planning for a third part of the franchise to which producer Vijay Kiragandur responded. He cleared the air that they have very exciting and prestigious projects in the pipeline and will be thinking of a third film in the KGF series only after those are completed.
