Filmmaker and producer Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe introduced its first female spy Katrina Kaif in the Tiger franchise. She plays the Zoya, a Pakistani spy who is equal to a man at every step of the story. Katrina Kaif also received positive reviews just from the trailer and fans admired her action sequences.
Katrina Kaif can be seen relishing intriguing stunt sequences and hand-to-hand action set pieces that no woman has done on screen before. The actress has taken intense training for almost two months to pull off those larger-than-life action sequences.
Katrina shared that, “Tiger 3 shows that there is nothing that a woman can’t do when it comes to saving her family or a nation or humanity. A character like Zoya is important and necessary to tell people that girls can be nurturers as well as fierce protectors. Zoya is one of the most cherished roles of my career!”
Katrina admitted to the fact that YRF has made Zoya’s character fiercer with every film and she loves action as a genre and playing a spy is a dream come true. The actress also stated that she would give her 200 percent for this franchise after realizing this would be part of her legacy.
Tiger 3 starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif is directed by Maneesh Sharma. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films production house. The Tiger franchise is a part of YRF Spy Universe and is slated to release on November 12.
