As the industry is reeling in the duds, for now, Karthikeya 2 seems like a bright speck which can save the box office at least for time being. The movie team too, are very confident in the output of their movie. The teasers and songs released till now have already generated good interest in the movie and now Nikhil Siddartha and co are ready to release the theatrical trailer on the 6th of this month. Nikhil Siddartha revealed a few details about the movie in a recent interview which hyped the movie to the next level. As per his statements, the film will be the extension of the earlier movie Karthikeya. What happened between these two movies will be shown in the rolling titles. The intro itself will be about Lord Krishna leaving his Avatar and what happened to his Legacy.
An extensive high-end CG work is used to show the visuals of Lord Krishna. Roughly 3000 VFX shots were present in the movie which will be a real feast for the audience. As the budget crosses the limit, Nikhil is said to have worked without taking any remuneration for the film. Sources close to the hero say that he is confident of the movie’s success and he will get the remuneration as the producer will reap profits from this intriguing story. The film is helmed by Chandoo Mondeti and produced by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts banners. Anupama Parameswaran stars as the female lead in this part while Anupam Kher, Srinivasa Reddy, and Viva Harsha will be seen in key roles. The film will hit the screens on the 12th of this month.
