Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor who successfully completed three decades in the entertainment industry has found her placed herself as one of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry. After so many years, the actress is all set to make her debut with OTT Jaane Jaan.
Kareena Kapoor was asked why she picked Jaane Jaan to be her debut OTT film. Kareena said, she is a major fan of Sujoy Ghosh and has always wanted to work with the director. Apart from Jaane Jaan being directed by Sujoy Ghosh, she personally likes watching crimes and thrilling.
The Bodyguard actress thinks the Audience who like thrillers will hook into the narration. So making a debut with my favorite director and a genre that keeps the audience hooked is a perfect choice. Everything fell into place once the cast was finalized.
The Jab We Met actress talking about the genres that were offered before Jaane Jaan said there were other genres but she picked the Sujoy Ghosh film because the script read has something moody about the narration and the rest of them were all sort of run-of-the-mill and commercial.
Jaane Jaan is a crime thriller written and directed by Sujoy Ghosh starring Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Varma, and Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead roles. Jointly produced by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Shobha Kapoor, and Ekta Kapoor and will be released on September 21.
