Acclaimed filmmaker and producer of Dharma Productions in the Hindi film industry is not new to receiving many trolls on social media. The director is often subjected to trolls, mostly for his mannerisms and controversial talks in the industry among the audience.
Recently, a troller commented asking him to get a bahu for his mother so she can pass the time at home. Karan took to his Instagram story, sharing his thoughts on a comment dropped by the troller. He responded by clapping back at the troller in a most unusual way of explaining things to get into the troller’s mind.
He wrote, “Firstly no “bahu” should be a time pass for anyone’s mother…a bahu is a label which comes with ridiculous regressive baggage..she is an individual in her own right and can pass her time how she likes personally and professionally, and she co-parents his children so she doesn’t have time to pass.”
