Expressing his disapproval, Karan shared his thoughts on his Instagram story, stating that he finds comments like these the most offensive. He emphasized that a daughter-in-law (bahu) should not be considered a time pass for anyone’s mother and that the term carries regressive baggage.
Karan further highlighted that a daughter-in-law is an individual with her own identity, entitled to live her life personally and professionally. He emphasized that his mother, Hiroo Johar, co-parents his children and doesn’t need any kind of time pass.
