Kanguva: A Mighty Valiant Saga is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language period action drama that features Suriya. The film is directed by Siva and written by Adi Narayana. It is produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja, V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creation.
In August of last year, Kanguva was revealed. As this is Suriya’s 42nd movie as a starring actor, the working title for the movie was Suriya42, later they officially titled as Kanguva. While Suriya’s much-awaited project Kanguva is anticipated to complete by November. A song needs to be shot this month… After finishing the filming for this song in Kanguva, the crew will head back to Kodaikanal to finish the filming for the scenes during the time period. Produced by Studio Green with music by Devi Sri Prasad, the movie stars Suriya in the lead role and is directed by Siva. This movie is anticipated to be released in 10 languages and was made on a luxury budget of about 350 crores. Disha Patani is portraying the female lead in this project.
VetriMaaran’s ViduthalaiPart2 shoot has been extended till 2024. This opens up possibilities for Suriya to potentially work on a short commercial movie before embarking on the magnum opus VaadiVaasal.
