Kangana Ranaut was last seen playing the role of Piolt in the movie Tejas, which failed at the box office. Kangana will be seen in her upcoming movie, Emergency, which she will direct and produce. The movie is expected to be released on November 24, 2023.
Besides that, Ranut is now all set to reunite with her Tanu Weds Manu co-star, R. Madhavan, for a psychological thriller. Kangana took to Twitter a few hours ago to disclose the news about her upcoming film. The actor shared a picture and wrote, “Today in Chennai, we started filming our new film, a psychological thriller. Other details are coming soon. For now, we need all your support and blessings for this very unusual and exciting script.”
A.L. Vijay is directing the upcoming psychological thriller. This is the second time Kangana has collaborated with the director and the actor. A.L. Vijay also directed Kangana’s Thalavi, and she worked together with R. Madhavan in Tanu Weds Manu and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, which were super hits at the time. Now, the pair is all set to hit screens again after 8 years.
It is also reported that Kangana will reprise her role as Tanuja Trivedi from Tanu Weds Manu in the third part of the series. She also has Sita: The Incarnation and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda in her kitty.
