Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara recently joined the elite list of top 10 highest grossers of South Indian Films of all time in Hindi belt region. The list includes mighty blockbusters Baahubali 2 and KGF-2 and a few.
The dubbed versions of kantara released 2 weeks before from now and still the film’s great run doesn’t just stop here as the Kantara Hindi surpasses the lifetime collections of K.G.F: Chapter 1 (Hindi). KGF 1, which had grossed over Rs. 238 crores at the global box office during its theatrical run, had reportedly collected Rs. 44.42 crores in Hindi version.
According to the latest trade reports, Kantara’s Hindi release has outperformed KGF 1 at the box office and has collected close to Rs. 45 crores (net) as of Monday, October 31. The film is now looking to go past 50 crores rs in the next few days.
Officially , Kantara surpasses the KGF-1 in the Hindi version. Interestingly, the three films KGF1&2 , Kantara are bankrolled under the banner of Hombale Films. So its a hattrick for the Production house and made huge profits too.
