Kalki AD 2898, one of the most anticipated films of 2024, features a stellar cast and promises a stunning visual spectacle. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
Nag Ashwin recently shared his thoughts on working with the actors (Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan) during a panel discussion at a Bombay film festival. “All the actors in the film are incredibly humble,” he said, “which makes a director’s job remarkably easy.”
While acknowledging the difficulties of making a VFX-heavy film in India, Ashwin expressed optimism about the country’s growing capabilities, saying, “Crafting a VFX-intensive film in India is undeniably difficult. However, we are seeing progress and are very close to realizing our vision.”
Kalki AD 2898 made a big impression at Comic Con USA earlier this year, with the entire star cast on hand, as well as Ashwin and producers Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, and Priyanka Dutt. The film is set for a pan-India release in 2024, which has sparked widespread excitement among fans across the country.
