After blockbusters like KGF and Kantara, the Kannada film industry is all set to release another Pan-India film called Kabzaa. The movie features top stars like Upendra, Sudeep, Shivrajkumar, and Shriya in key roles, and has been produced on a massive budget. The film is scheduled for release on March 17th and there are high expectations from this ambitious project.
But the run time of the film is creating waves in the industry. Normally, for any Pan-Indian or big-budget project, the runtime will be a minimum of 150 minutes and a few Pan-Indian films will have 170 minutes – 180 minutes as these films have a large timeline span. Kabzaa, on the other hand, has a runtime of only 136 minutes. Many believe that this would save a film lot even if the plot loses its glory here and there.
According to reports, the film’s narrative spans nearly five decades, beginning in the pre-Independence era and going into the 80s. Also, Upendra has classified the film as an out-and-out action entertainer, which makes Kabzaa’s runtime feel short.
