Actress Jyothika is teaming up with Ajay Devgn and Madhavan for the upcoming supernatural thriller. It will be the actress’ first Hindi film after two decades.
Recently, news surfaced that Ajay Devgn will be leading the Hindi remake of the Gujarati supernatural thriller, Vash. The movie is directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen and Shaandar fame. Alongside being the lead of the film, Ajay Devgn is also producing the movie with Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
Now, it has been confirmed that Jyothika, who predominantly works in the Tamil cinema industry, has been roped in to essay a key character in the movie. This new addition to the cast has amped up the anticipation for the movie among the netizens.
Jyothika will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan in the supernatural flick. It was also confirmed that Janki Bodiwala, who played the lead in the Gujarati version will be reprising her role in the Hindi remake. The untitled film will go on floors in June 2023.
The actress made her acting debut with the Hindi film, Doli Saja Ke Rakhna alongside Akshaye Khanna back in 1998. This upcoming movie will mark her comeback to Hindi cinema after almost 25 years. Jyothika is also shooting for the Malayalam film, Kathal Core opposite Mammootty.
