Shah Rukh Khan, the one and only Raj from DDLJ, still rolling in the Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai, recently won over all hearts again with his latest movie Pathaan. 11 months ago, Red Chillies Entertainment posted a Title Announcement video on YouTube about his upcoming movie ‘Jawan’, aimed to release on June 2, 2023.
Produced by Gauri Khan, this movie revolves around a soldier. The entry scene shows Shah Rukh Khan’s head coiled with gauze, a smug smile pasted on his face. The short clip leaves the viewer’s imagination fertile with suspense. We also see words in Tamil in the video, indicating there’s going to be a dubbed version in Kollywood as well. Sources say that the former shooting started in 2021, with clippings from several cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Aurangabad.
News is that the shooting faced a backlog, following which, there were extreme delays in rounding off the movie because of heavy VFX work. Just a month left for its release, yet there have been no teasers, trailers, interviews, posts, or updates about the movie from celebrities, Red Chillies, or others. It is being told that there’s a high possibility the release will be postponed due to the same. SRK’s fans, eager to earn another first-day-first-show badge may have to pause on that for a little longer.
