James Gunn on the possibility of Margot Robbie playing Harley Quinn in the DCU ( DC Comics Universe). He says he hasn’t talked to Margot Robbie about Harley Quinn for a long time but would love to see her back as Harley or as someone else.
In a tweet, James Gunn replied, “There are no plans at this time for anyone else to play Harley in the DCU.” “I haven’t talked to Margot about Harley for a long time. But I’d love to work with her again, either as Harley or as someone else. There are no plans at this time for anyone else to play Harley (other than in Todd’s movie or the animated show/s)”
Joker: Folie a Deux is directed by Todd Philps and serves as a direct sequel to the 2019 DC Studios film Joker. It is reported that Joaquin Phoenix will return as Arthur Fleck, aka the Joker, in the sequel, living in Arkham in the aftermath of his numerous crimes, with Lady Gaga joining as Hareen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn.
