Bollywood glamours diva Jacqueline Fernandez has approached the Delhi High Court to quash an FIR and a supplementary chargesheet, which was filed against her concerning the money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrasekhar, said ANI.
Reportedly, in her plea, she mentioned that the evidence provided by the ED would prove that the petitioner was innocent and eventually became a target of Sukesh. Reports suggest that no indication of her involvement in aiding him in the money laundering case exists, so she cannot be prosecuted under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
In addition, reports also suggest that Jacqueline Fernandez noted that the law enforcement agency has behaved partisanly while arraigning the petitioner as an accused. Jacqueline Fernandez will next star alongside Salman Khan in Kick 2, Akshay Kumar in Welcome To The Jungle, and Housefull 5.
