Lee Ji Eun, popularly known by her stage name IU is a Kpop Idol and an actress. IU has become prey to certain malicious rumors lately. The agency released a notice acknowledging the issue.
IU’s name has been doing rounds on the internet for four certain false stories claimed the agency, Edam Entertainment. The case details shared by the agency encompass:
1) Case on the Leaflet Accusing the Artist of being Spy: An anonymous person from Ulsan has been circulating false statements by tagging her as a Spy.
2)Complaint Against the Artist: 58 accused were caught for engaging in providing false reports, to defame the Dream actress.
3) Complaint Filed against the Distributor of False Rumor on Plagiarism: The legal counsel has found 58 people guilty of having shared malicious comments on the idol and are due on receiving a warrant.
4) Case concerning Malicious Comments: The actress has received slanderous comments lately, to which the agency took action against 61 people who have been insulting her vigorously for the past few months.
IU recently appeared in the film Dream alongside Park Seo Joon, which received great appreciation from the viewers.
