Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is Marvel’s highly anticipated upcoming movie. The first installment, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse left everyone in awe and wanting for more. The dynamics between the various Spider-Man impressed the audience and the chaos caused by the Spideys altogether induced endless laughter.
In the sequel to the much-loved movie, we will get to see Miles Molares uncovering the mysteries of the Multiverse as he travels from one Earth to another. In the trailer released, fans were treated to a preview of Miles’ adventures as he reunites with Gwen and Peter Parker. A team of Spider-People consisting of many many spider-men from across the multiverse were also introduced amping up the anticipation around the flick.
The latest TV spot released from the movie provided a sneak peek of the Indian Spider-Man. Fans, especially the Indian ones couldn’t be more stoked. Pavitr Prabhakar, the Indian Spider-Man is shown in his world, Earth 50101. We get a glimpse of Mumbattan and India’s traffic as he introduces himself to the audience and to Miles and Gwen. His outrage at Miles calling chia, “chai-tea” is relatable. Though there are some stereotypical elements present as always, they are given a hilarious spin. India’s traffic, our love for chai, and a damroo in Spider-Man’s hand have created a buzz among the netizens as they can’t wait to see more of the character.
Pavitr Prabhakar will be voiced by Karan Soni of Deadpool fame. Recently, it was revealed that Shubham Gill, an Indian cricket player will be voicing the Indian Spider-Man in the Hindi and Punjabi versions.
Spider-Man will take you across the Spider-verse to meet new Spider-men from June 2. Hold on tight, Spidey will swing you across various earths.
