The film Fighter, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, and others, will be released on January 25, 2024. Fighter had a reasonable start of Rs 23 crores on the first day, but it finally got the momentum it needed on the second day, collecting around Rs 39 crores, with a chance of even Rs 40 crore depending on the numbers that come in from the mass centers later. The film collects Rs 62 crores with in 2 days.
Fighter made the most of the Republic Day holiday, increasing its numbers by more than 70%. Collections increased by more than double in centers that were slow on the first day.
In metros, the jump was at least 50% higher than the first day, which is excellent for a film that grossed a lot on its debut day. Fighter has a long weekend ahead of it, and the maker hopes that both Saturday and Sunday contribute in the vicinity of Rs 30 crores, if not more, for a healthy extended weekend cume of more than Rs 120 crores, with the conventional weekend potentially contributing around Rs 100 crores.
