The aerial action film Fighter helmed by Siddharth Anand released in theatres on Thursday to positive reviews. As per Sacnilk.com, Fighter will likely mint over ₹126 crore in India total in five days of its release.
The inspirational film opened at ₹22.5 crores at the domestic box office. On day two, the film earned ₹39.5 crores in India, on day three it minted ₹27.5 crores; and on day four it earned ₹29 crores. Fighter is likely to earn around ₹8 crore net in India on its fifth day for all languages, as per early estimates. Till now the film earned Rs 126 crore and is yet to achieve the breakeven.
Fighter star cast also includes Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles. The film features Hrithik as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka Patty, Deepika Padukone as Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka Minni, and Anil as Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka Rocky, fighting for the country. The film is a tribute to the valor, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian armed forces.
