Bhumi Pednekar who worked as an assistant director made her debut as an actress in the romantic comedy movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015. The actress established herself as one of the best performers with her debut film where she was seen as an overweight bride who received lauds from the audience.
Bhum who has been working on selective projects since then has recently come up with a new film Thank You For Coming. The actress talks about how working with senior actor Anil Kapoor in this flick made her nervous before the shoot but the latter made it easy for her said the actress.
Bhumi said in an interview that the actress is extremely nervous but Anil Kapoor is one of the kindest, nicest, most motivating, and inspirational people I know. He’s incredible, he knows the impact he makes on people so he makes sure he makes all of us comfortable because we all are in just awe of him, he’s a breeze to work with.”
Bhumi Pednekar is gearing up for her upcoming film Thank You For Coming promoting the movie. Touted to be a coming-of-age comedy, the film made headlines for its star cast and premiered at the 46th Toronto International Film Festival 2023(TIFF) in the Gala presentations earning a standing ovation.
Anil Kapoor’s youngest son-in-law Karan Boolani’s debut directorial boasts a star cast such as Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, and Shibani Bedi in the lead roles. The film is jointly produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and will hit theatres on October 6.
