Thank You For Coming is going to be the next revolutionary film after OMG 2 with regards to s*x education and normalizing s*xual pleasure. In an interview with Fever FM, the host said, “Thank you for foregrounding female pleasure. We need to talk about it. It’s okay to want it. Thank you for normalizing that conversation.”
Bhumi Pednekar added, “And as Vidya Balan said, “We like it as much as they like it,” Ek bohot hi coming-of-age important story boli hai, but you know at the same time there’s something about this film, ki har ladki bole yeh toh meri kahani hai. There are such strong five female characters in the film. Actually, why five? I would like to say seven, because jo meri nani aur mom play kar rahi hain, they are such strong parts. So I feel like for every girl, for every woman, koi na koi hoga jisse aap relate karoge.” (A very coming-of-age story has been narrated, but you know at the same time there’s something about this film, that every girl will think it’s her story.
