Anurag Kashyap’s recent film was ‘Kennedy’ starring Rahul Bhatt and Sunny Leone. It is a neo-noir thriller film which was premiered at the recently held 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The story of the film is about an Insomniac former police officer who lives in different conditions and is looking for salvation. The ex-cop, who is presumed dead for a long time, operates secretly for the corrupt system.
While speaking about the film, the director revealed the reason behind the title of the movie, he told that it is titled after a Superstar’s Nickname. He told, “I actually had a specific actor in mind when I wrote this film. Which is why the film is called Kennedy. Because that actor’s nickname is Kennedy. The film was called The Kennedy Project. It is Chiyaan Vikram. Chiyaan Vikram’s real name is Kennedy. I reached out to him. He never responded.” He then further told that he then reached out to Rahul who felt very excited after reading the script.
When the audience got to know about this, they started calling out Vikram for his behavior. And the user wrote why does he have to do that, he could have at least said yes or no. One user wrote, Anurag’s expression while telling about Vikram is breaking his heart.
