Ahimsa is the upcoming telugu movie which is directed by Teja. The director is famous for his films like Nuvvu Nenu, Jayam, Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Abhiram Daggubati, the film producer is making his acting debut with this movie. Abhiram is the brother of Rana and nephew of Venkatesh. The film also stars Geethika as the lead actress, which is her debut film as well. The music is composed by Patnaik.
Director Teja has revealed that he has tortured Abhiram a lot for this movie. He had made him do cycling every day from the bottom to the top of a hill for a scene in the movie. But he said that later the bicycle was replaced by a bike. He also made the actor carry a lot of weight on his shoulders due to which he was even hospitalized for four months.
At the Grand press meet of the movie, Venkatesh told that the film is a good youthful entertainer and an emotional movie. he told that the newbie actors have done a good job and played their roles well. He further told about the two songs which got good response from the audience. The film is set to hit the theatres on June 2.
