The latest crime thriller Gumraah, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur and Ronit Roy in the lead roles, was released in theatres on Friday. It received mediocre reviews from critics and opened to average numbers at the ticket counters. Gumraah is the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil hit Thadam and Telugu hit Red. So many movie buffs even before release doubted the film’s hit as Thadam and Red Hindi versions are available on youtube.
Marking the same, the fan had replied to a Twitter user’s review of Gumraah and stated, “Already seen Thadam (original Tamil Version) so not interested in it.” Mrunal Thakur quoted his reply and added, “Mere aur Aditya ke liye Dekh lo Sir (Please see it for me and Aditya).”
This cute reply from Mrunal is getting everyone’s attention.
Directed by Vardhan Ketkar, in Gumraah, Aditya Roy Kapur can be seen playing a dual role in this crime thriller with a unique plot. On the other hand, actress Mrunal Thakur can be seen donning the look of a cop.
