Greta Gerwig’s Barbie is running towards the Billion Dollar Club

Greta Gerwig

Greta Gerwig‘s marvellous Barbie continued to shine bright at the box office during its second weekend in theatres and is now just days away from joining the Billion dollar club. Barbie is here to stay. All this is possible only because of Greta Gerwig’s brilliant writings, direction and excellent marketing.

Greta Gerwig makes history as she gave tough competition to Hollywood Ace Director Christopher Nolan. This is the first in Hollywood’s history that a woman-directed film is doing better than an aced male director film; well, that’s Greta Gerwig of the new generation of Hollywood.

The way she created Barbie’s world, which is a dream of every girl, and articulated the Barbie character and people around her, and the depth of the story is incredible. The way she moulded the Barbie characters as simple girls rather than glamorous dolls is what society needed.

She literally gave a new meaning to Barbie. She told little girls that being you, loving yourself and cherishing one’s individuality is enough, rather than being a glamorous doll, which is quite remarkable and commendable. She is the best director of the present generation.

Barbie is constructed in a well-made film. It’s just you can tell that everything had an intention behind it, and it’s just a real film that every girl can feel. Greta’s filmmaking techniques, script writing and casting contributed significantly to Barbie’s magnanimous success. In a world full of time travel, chasing villains, running in Europe, fighting with super robots, alien invasion, Space travel, and Racing, we deserve Greta Gerwig’s Lady Bird, Little Women and Barbie, which talks about relevant and accurate issues.

It’s once in life opportunity so do watch Barbie in theatres only.
