Govt hiked tickets for Chiru and Balayya’s upcoming movies.

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, announced a legal notice on the upcoming movies of Tollywood superstars Nandamuri Balakrishna and megastar Chiranjeevi stating that their movies price will hike up by 20 and 25 rupees for ten (10) straight days after the release. The exhibitors must pay an additional 20 rupees charge for Veera Simha Reddy and 25 rupees for Waltier Veerayya.

The government, which earlier decreased the cost of cinema tickets, has now normalised the prices following extensive consultation with influential government and film industry figures. The government was persuaded and gave the film producers permission to increase the price for the first ten days of distribution.

As Nandamuri Balakrishna and megastar Chiranjeevi, both superstars have enormous fan bases; this Sankranthi will bring both joy and a significant battle between their forthcoming films. Both Veera Simha Reddy and Waltier Veerayya are movies that are alternately released: Veera Simha Reddy on Thursday and Waltier Veerayya on Friday. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the Twain films.
