Chiranjeevi grabbed his hit track back with latest release Godfather. The film is enjoying a decent run at the worldwide box office. With good word of mouth from critics and audience, the film has surpassed almost Rs 100 crores within a week.
Came as a remake of Lucifer, the film is directed by Mohan Raja and marks the debut of Salman Khan in Tollywood.
After opening to a decent start, GodFather’s box office collection saw a dip on Day 6 that is on Monday. On this Monday, Godfather earned Rs 3.45 crore in India. Also the same continued on the seventh day as well. The film on Tuesday earned the lowest as it grossed Rs 2.34 crore in India. However, trade analysts are opinionating that a sudden drop may not signify a lower collection at the box office for the entire week. So, we have to wait and see how the film is going to perform this weekend to reach its break-even point.
