Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next film is titled Godfather. Directed by Mohan Raja, the film creates a special interest among the audiences. Nayanthara plays the female lead role in it. The film unit confirmed that the film would release on the 5th of October, and the censor work is completed.
The censor board seems to have liked the film and heaped praises over the movie unit. The film was awarded a U certificate, and director Mohan Raja took to his Twitter profile to confirm the same.

The film marks the director’s comeback to Tollywood, after the successful film Hanuman Junction. Godfather also stars Satyadev, Brahmaji, Sunil and others in pivotal roles. Billed to be a political thriller, Godfather is the official remake of the Malayalam hit film Lucifer.
