Gladiator 2 is finally moving forward after over two decades of speculation. Director Ridley Scott revealed that the script is completed. The Gladiator 2 screenplay was written by Peter Craig, whose stock has skyrocketed this year following the release of the box office smash The Batman, which he co-wrote with Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves.
Plot and casting details are being kept firmly under wraps for the Gladiator sequel. According to the entertainment news outlet The Hollywood Reporter, It is confirmed that pedro pascal who is currently enjoying stardom from his previous HBO drama series ”The Last Of Us” and who is one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023 is going to join the cast of the Gladiator 2. Pedro Pascal’s role can continue his biggest career trend.
Pedro Pascal will join alongside the likes of Paul Mescal, Denzel Washington, Joseph Quinn, Connie Nielsen, Barry Keoghan, and Digimon Hounsou. Paramount Pictures is producing the film. Gladiator 2 is said to be released in theaters on November 22, 2024.
