First Bollywood Movie Released In Bangladesh After 52 Years

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan has seen huge success worldwide. King Khan came on the screen after many years through Pathaan and has won the hearts of fans with his powerful comeback. Pathaan brought a huge success to Bollywood, which was stuck in the failure of a series of movies. Shah Rukh Khan also won in Bollywood again with great success. Pathaan has collected 1000 crore rupees worldwide.

This Bollywood blockbuster Pathaan is releasing in Bangladesh. With this, the first Hindi movie is coming to the screens in Bangladesh after exactly 52 years. It is special that after 1971, the first Indian cinema was released in Bangladesh cinemas. If it was as expected, this movie should have already been released in Bangla. The movie was scheduled to release on April 24. Now the new date has been announced.

Pathaan movie is releasing in Bengal on May 12. Speaking about this, Nelson D’Souza of Yash Raj Films said, “Cinema has always been a force to unite nation, race and culture. It also transcends borders. Motivating people plays an important role in bringing people together. Pathaan, who has already made a big noise all over the world, is now all set to entertain the Bangladeshi audience. Pathaan is the first Hindi film to be released in Bangladesh since 1971. We are grateful to the authorities for this decision. We have come to know over the years that Shah Rukh Khan has a huge fan following in Bangladesh.”

There were many restrictions on the release of Bollywood movies in Bangla. Now it has been relaxed a bit and the Pathaan release has got a chance. In a meeting held at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation on February 12, the film association took the decision to release Hindi films in Bangladesh. The association suggested that 10 Hindi films should be released in theatres in Bangladesh every year.
