Filmfare tributes to ace filmmaker Hansal Mehta!

Hansal Mehta is known for his daring narrative choices and knack for casting the right actors, as evidenced by his collaborations with Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpayee.

The critically acclaimed director debuted with the television show Kahana Khanzaa in 1993. and made his Bollywood debut in 2000 with Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar, He won the National Award for Best Director for Shahid and also won Best Asian Television Series in Busan South Korea.

Mehta’s directorial journey has been marked by triumph over the last three years, introducing new faces like Pratik Gandhi, Gagan Dev Riar, and Karishma Tanna in the critically acclaimed series Scam 1992, Scam 2003: The Telgi Story, and Scoop, respectively.

These shows drew widespread praise and acclaim, propelling the actors into the spotlight with their nuanced portrayals of complex, real-life characters.
