Fatima Sana Shaikh calls this one elite group, “Battameez”

When Fatima Sana Shaikh was asked, “Your role in Dangal was incredible, but did that role make people only offer you similar characters, thinking you could pull off roles like these? “the Ludo actress confidently replied, ” Not really. After that, I did Thugs, Ludo, and Indira. In fact, when I was cast for Dangal, I was thinner, and my hair was long too that matter, but it was the director’s vision that got me there; the director could imagine me as a 60 kg wrestler, which is the vision for sure.”.

The actress also shared an experience with a group of girls forcing Fatima to look a certain way, trying to fix her hair and put on makeup without taking her concern; when Fatima said no, the girls called her rude. The actress stated, ” I realized people have no boundaries, people are badtameez(insolent), and most importantly, these elite, privileged people think they can do anything and get away with it.”.
