Actor Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, who played Jasmine in JD Majethia’s popular TV show Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, died in a car accident.
In a post on Instagram Story, Majethia the director of the famous TV show shared the miserable news and informed that the mishap took place in North India.
“Unbelievable that life can be so unpredictable. A very fine actress and a dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay very popularly known as “Jasmine” of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in the north and the family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for last rites Rest in peace Vaibhavi”
On 23rd May 2023, an unfortunate accident took place in Himachal Pradesh. The actress was travelling in a car with her fiance when the car suddenly went out of control at a steep turn. Several people from the TV industry mourned her untimely passing. Actor Devan Bhojani paid tribute to the actress on Twitter.
Every year, approximately 1.5 lakh people die on Indian roads, which translates to 1130 accidents and 422 deaths every day or 47 accidents and 18 deaths every hour according to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India.
