The Great and Maleficent actress Elle Fanning is getting candid about how her lack of social media may have cast a major role.
She revealed in a new podcast interview that she didn’t get a big part once and while it” might not have just been this reason,” the only feedback that she received was that she didn’t have enough Instagram followers at that time.”She added that she firmly doesn’t believe in ever not getting a part because of social media follower count. She further added that she doesn’t feel any pressure of joining Marvel, Star Wars, or DC.
Fanning who currently boots 6.2 million Instagram followers is making press rounds in support of her Hulu series ”The Great” season 3 in which she paired with Nicholas Hoult. Fanning received an Emmy Award nomination for outstanding lead actress in a comedy role for the Hulu series, ”The Great” and will return for season 3 of ”The Great”and will star alongside her sister Dakota Fanning in the upcoming film The Nightingale.
