Over the weekend, the Canadian rapper, Drake, participated in a special Kick livestream to promote Stake, an online crypto-casino. Here, he appeared at the stream alongside Lil Yachty, another rapper whom the “Hotline Bling” singer had requested to partner up with for a business venture.
“Yo, listen, I don’t know who owns Kick, but I know the chat wants to see Yachty go live,” he remarked in the video. I’ve been telling him that I believe Kick can be taken over by him. I only have a modest business suggestion for Kick’s owner: they need to pay my brother.
The rapper, whose actual name is Aubrey Drake Graham, drew fans’ attention for the wrong reasons later in the livestream.
He attempted to make a live donation of $500 (£402) to a streamer named Daisy, but his credit card was rejected. He said in a high-pitched voice, “Embarrassing,” as he realised he couldn’t make the payment.
