Until a while back, the makers of RRR announced that the film had collected over Rs 100 crores gross in the Nizam region, which is an unprecedented feat.
However, Dil Raju, who bought the Nizam distribution rights of the film, has implied that he can’t validate if the film actually made Rs 100 crores in Nizam or not.
“My job is to send the numbers to the producer, and it is a matter of their concern what they do with it. They send out whatever number they feel like sending, and people believe whatever they want,” Dil Raju.
When the journalist implied an apparent disparity in the actual collections of RRR and the promoted numbers, Raju appeared to be nodding in acceptance.
