Did the debate help Viswaksen Movie?

Although it was not the route he had planned, Viswaksen has reached the target he aimed for. The recent controversy on a TV channel seems to have helped his Ashoka vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam (AVAK) movie immensely. Among the movies released today, Viswaksen starrer is gaining a lot of support. Though the output is just ok, that debate in the tv studio came as a blessing in disguise for AVAK. The aversion people have towards news channels is turning out as a positive result for Viswak. Social media is actively spreading the good talk and Twitter is abuzz with positive reviews too. The entire movie industry is standing with Viswak and lending their support to him.

In a controversy, Viswak was asked to get out of the studio by the newsreader of a reputed channel. Although Tollywood did not speak openly against the channel because of various reasons, they are supporting Viswak from behind. That was evident on the release date too. Directors like Radha Krishna Kumar, Hanu Raghavapudi and actors like Sai Dharam, Siddhu Jonnalagadda were all praise for the movie AVAK on Twitter. Though the movie is not as good as the talk itself, Viswak has the soft corner which is turning the tide for him.

Viswak played the role of Arjun Kumar Allam, an aging bachelor who is eager for marriage. Ruxon thillon starred beside him in this Vidya Sagar Chinta directorial. The project was bankrolled by BVSN Prasad on SVCC digital banner. According to the trade sources, Rs 6.30 crores will help the movie reach break even. Coming back to Viswak, he has movies lined up ahead. One of them is Mukhachitram in which he will be seen as a powerful lawyer. ‘Colour Photo’ fame Sandeep Raj is providing the story and screenplay. The new director on the blocks, Gangadhar is at the helm. Viswak is going to star in Tamil hit ‘O My Kadavule’ as well which will be directed by Ashwat Marimutthu. PVP and SVC are jointly producing the celluloid.
