Gadar 2, a freshly released movie starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is expected to stir up a fuss at the box office. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the Friday-released film is most likely to have an opening weekend gross of Rs 35 crore. The movie had a 36.73% Hindi occupancy on its first day, and it is anticipated that this number would rise over the weekend.
Gadar 2 now has the second-highest Bollywood opening of 2023, trailing only Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which made Rs 57 crore on its first day. The other Hindi movies that did well on their first day and had a double-digit start at the box office were Bholaa (Rs. 11.20 crore), Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (Rs. 11.10 crore), and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Rs. 15.81 crore).
Gadar 2 is a movie for which most of the audience waited for a long time. It is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, where Tara Singh ( Sunny Deol ) goes to rescue his son and falls in love with a Pakistani woman i;e Sakeena (Ameesha Patel).
