Gadar 2 Advance Booking: Sunny Deol Starrer Sells 76,000 Tickets For Day 1

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are getting ready to make a big impact with their eagerly awaited movie, “Gadar 2.” The film, directed by Anil Sharma, is getting a lot of attention for its impressive advance booking numbers. According to Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst, “Gadar 2” has already sold more than 76,000 tickets for its first day of release.

Trade analysts shared that PVR has sold 33,000 tickets for Gadar 2 on the first day. INOX and Cinepolis have also sold 25,500 and 18,100 tickets respectively for August 11. This adds up to a total of 76,600 tickets already sold for the film’s opening day. People are suggesting that Gadar 2 could have the second-largest opening of the year, right after Pathaan. The movie seems poised for success, with expectations of a significant box office start, estimated at around Rs 25 crores.

Gadar 2 was revealed in October 2021 as the official remake of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which came out in 2001. The original film was set in post-partition India and told the love story of a Muslim girl named Sakeena (Ameesha Patel) and an Indian Sikh boy named Tara Singh (Sunny Deol). In the first movie, Tara Singh crossed the border to reunite with his wife. In the sequel, he will once again cross the border, this time to bring his son back.
