June 21 2023, marks 10 years for the cult favorite “Raanjhanaa” starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor in the leading roles. Many fans took to social media to post clips and screen grabs from the movie to show their love. Not only was Raanjhanaa Dhanush’s debut Hindi film, it was also the first collaboration between the actor and director Aanand L. Rai, followed by Atrangi Re.
This fan-favorite combo is now coming back once again with a new film titled “Tere ishq mein”- a story from the world of Raanjhanaa. On the 10-year anniversary of Raanjhanaa the Maari actor posted a note thanking fans for making Raanjhanaa a classic and announcing the new film, saying “Tere Ishq Mein. I don’t know what kind of journey awaits me. But I am sure it’s gonna be an adventure, for us and all.” Tere ishq mein is set to be produced by Himanshu Sharma, and A.R Rahaman is the music director.
The title announcement video shows a rugged and intense Dhanush running with a lit bottle in hand, finally throwing it at a wall causing it to catch on fire, as the flames die down, the title Tere ishq mein is revealed! Looks like this will be the perfect sequel for Kundan and Zoya.
