Bajirao Mastani actress Deepika Padukone reportedly didn’t charge anything for her cameo in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer. While she receives praise from fans for her role in Jawan, she revealed that she does not charge a fee for special film appearances.
When asked in The Week interview whether she charges for doing special appearances, Deepika said, “No, I don’t. I wanted to be a part of 83 because I wanted it to be an ode to women who stand behind their husbands’ glory. I watched my mother do it.
Jawan has already been breaking records at the box office and surpassed many biggies within the first week of its release. The film has crossed over 600 crores worldwide and is still going strong, and the Shah Rukh Khan fever won’t come down anytime soon.
