Christopher Nolan’s favorite films
Christopher Nolan, one of the most renowned Hollywood directors who gained international stardom with his unique direction and storytelling, is awaiting for first Oscar Best Director Award, as he was nominated for Best Director for Oppenheimer.
Christopher Nolan, in a recent conversation with Stephen Colbert, revealed his favorite movies of recent times and all the time. Nolan revealed that his favorite recent films have been small-budget indies like Past Lives, directed by Celine Song, and Aftersun, directed by Charlotte Wells, who called both features beautiful. He also revealed that he is a great fan of Vin Diesel’s Fast and Furious franchise. He told the host that he had no guilt for being a Fast and Furious fan.
Christopher Nolan said,” I watch those films all the time. I love them. I’m amazed you’ve never seen one of them. It’s only the last few where very specific art and mythology develop. I would start with Tokyo Drift and just watch that as its own thing. I’ve got a very soft spot for Tokyo Drift.
The Outstanding Director has been nominated several times but has yet to win one. Oppenheimer was nominated in 11 categories.
