Brahmaputra, the Ahom Son Rises After Bahubali and RRR, the writer V. Vijayendra Prasad penned a new story along with Kulpreet Yadav. Kulpreet Yadav is an Indian novelist. He is the author of thirteen books, including The Girl Who Loved a Pirate and The Girl Who Loved a Spy. The Girl Who Loved a Pirate is India’s first thriller based on marine piracy and hijacking. He joined the Naval Officer’s Academy and served for two decades. In 2007, he was awarded the Director General’s Commendation for professionalism and dedication to the nation. He retired voluntarily from the rank of commandant with the Indian Coast Guard in 2014.
Vijay Prasad, who is writing a story for Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s next, has now joined hands with Kulpreet Yadav for this story, but this is not a movie; it is a novel. After being revived by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma Chief Minister of Assam,the 17th-century general Lachit Borphukan’s story is being brought to life by ‘RRR’ screenwriter, film director, and Rajya Sabha MP Vijayendra Prasad in a novel titled Brahmaputra: The Ahom Son Rises.
a novel about Lachit Borphukan falling in love with Princess Padmini. But her father, Swargadeo Jayadhwaj Singha, the king of the Ahom kingdom, finds out and throws Lachit out of the capital, Jorhat. A few days later, the Ahom capital is attacked by Aurangzeb’s forces. The king signs a truce treaty, thereby ceding part of his kingdom to the Mughals. For Lachit and his best friend, Prince Chakradhwaj, the terms of the treaty are humiliating. Within days, their troubles multiply as a prince from a kingdom loyal to the Ahoms misleads other minor kingdoms and attacks Jorhat. As Lachit and Prince Chakradhwaj defend the capital, this battle has the power to change the future of the Ahom kingdom forever. Can Lachit, Prince Chakradhwaj, and Princess Padmini restore the honour of the Ahoms by defeating the rebels and breaking free from the Mughal stranglehold? This book is now set to release on May 30.
